Database Citation Tools

Most library databases contain a link for each article labeled "Cite" or "Citation" or "Cite this." - it will vary in each database so use your best judgment. These citation links generate a citation for the article(s) from the database. You must double-check the citations that a database generates as there can be information missing - or that is incorrect. Please check the Quick Guide handouts found in the library - or go online via the "How to Cite" link on the library page.

In EBSCOHost databases, look for the "Cite" icon. This can be found under "Tools" to the right of each article record:

Several citations will appear in various styles. Identify which style you need to use. Then, copy and paste the correct citation into your reference list.
