Reedley College Reading and Writing Center

The RC Reading and Writing Center is located in HUM 58. Stop by to enroll in English 272, weekly small group tutoring which is designed to help you on any writing assignment from any class. Walk-in appointments are available on the hour, and online tutorial consultations are available Monday through mid-day Friday.

The Reedley College Tutorial Center provides Traditional Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction opportunities to any student who needs and wants to improve their subject knowledge and study skills.

HOW DO I GET A TUTOR?

Just stop by the Center and see if there is a tutor available at that time.  If not, complete a Request for Tutoring form. You will be connected with a tutor as soon as possible.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Tutoring is available in most classes by appointment and on a drop-in basis. Tutoring appointments are a mix of small group and one-on-one sessions. There is no cost or fee for tutoring—it is free to all currently registered students. Hundreds of students from all over campus get tutoring each semester. The tutor’s job is to help you navigate the class content and help you become a more resourceful learner.
