  • Use effective search strategies
  • Read and understand the resources you find
    • If you aren't finding useful information, get help!
  • Keep track of all the resources you use
    • Helps organize them for the bibliography

  • Read the resources carefully and keep notes
  • Be a college-level writer
    • Use quotations around direct quotes (cite them!)
    • Paraphrase others' words (cite them!)
